Computers belong on the floor

Recently I've been seeing a lot of Personal Computer enthusiasts have been placing their desktop
computers on their desks. It pains me to see this, and therefore I've created this handy guide to explain why computers belong on the floor.

Several reasons why computers belong on the floor:
1. It provides more desks space for your mouse, keyboard, an extra monitor or even speakers.
2. It provides easier cable management
3. It looks much better, and is aesthetically pleasing.
4. If using a mid ATX, it can be a nice footrest

Some myths people believe about having computers on the floor:
1. It's literally called "desktop" and therefore belongs on the top of a desk
  >> A common misconception of the word desktop. It originated when computers were so large, they could be used as desks.
2. It decreases airflow to power supplies
  >> This is true if you have carpeting, and if your PSU is on the bottom blowing down. Simple solution, flip the power supply so it blows upwards.
3. It does not look good
  >> Incorrect.
4. I have a see through case, and won't be able to see inside my computer!
  >> Think about why you have a transparent case. Do you really need to see inside your computer? Nobody cares.
5. I can put it on a filing cabinet next to my desk, what's the difference?
  >> This is an aesthetic faux pas, as it creates a visual misalignment. The composition of the desk & whole station must be balanced.

As you can see, this fine gentleman has placed his tower on the floor, providing ample
desk space for a large widescreen monitor and speakers. Lookin' good!

Unfortunately, this person has chosen to place their computer on top of what appears to be a separate desk,
however it creates a skewed visual, truly unpleasant to look at.
